Musk then said Page’s view was, “if I’m not misspeaking, that ultimately we will all upload our minds to the computer and everyone will just be robots.”An under discussed issue is how so many of these tech billionaires are transhumanists on one level or another.People that believe humans must merge with technology to survive are driving our society without even a discussion about it.Some even believe humans won't survive but it is our moral imperative to birth a new species to supplant us...a minority view but a very real one.Should every industry and political power bow to the whims of people with such philosophical underpinnings?Pragmatic business people in search of afficiencies and profits create businesses dependent on 3rd party connected platforms...is it even your business at that point?

The scary thing is the non-technical people trust these models more than the technical people. executives trust their AI models 60 plus percent of the time while the technical professionals that built them only trust them 42% of the time. I got a burrito from Taco Cabana and it was literally $1 less than a burrito I could have got at Chipotle. I literally had that thought as I was eating the this burrito with about 2/3 the filling for $1.50 less. I used to like Taco Cabana and I'll still go there for breakfast tacos but the price differential between that and Chipotle versus the value is just not there anymore. If Chipotle can give me grilled onions and peppers with black beans and actual amount of grilled chicken or steak in a burrito for a $1.50 more than these fast food places are out of their minds.https://lnkd.in/gWXygx8p
