The On the Move (OTM) team from Job and Family Services meets residents where they are. Every month, they bring the Job Center to guests at House of Bread, helping them navigate SNAP, Medicaid, Child Support and more! This employee-driven initiative has helped thousands since its first outreach event in 2018. OTM now works with more than 50 partners! SHOUT OUT SUNDAY: 🎉🎈🏆 Celebrating the Family Assistance Division's Timeliness Triumph! 🏆🎈🎉For a full year now, FAD has exceeded federal guidelines for Medicaid timeliness.With the return to normal operations following the pandemic, caseworkers have had to redetermine and recertify EVERY Medicaid case, which is about 180,000 clients in our community.Montgomery County now stands at the top among all Ohio metros, setting the bar high for efficiency and excellence.Congratulations to the entire FAD team for this incredible accomplishment! Here's to another year of timeliness and unparalleled dedication to serving our residents.
